Santa Barbara barrio or district is in the locality of Usaquén, in the North of Bogotá. It is a pleasant area to live in, work in or visit, as it has an array of quality reidential properties (mostly apartments) and some important business districts. The district is generally regarded as safe to live in for both residents and visitors, as buildings in this area generally fall under Estrato 5 or 6 (the highest municipal rating). Principle streets include Calle 116 (Pepe Sierra), Calle 122, AK 7 (Septima), AK 9 (Novena) and AK 19.

Teleport Business Park
This modern business park is located on the Novena (Av C 9 Calle 116) and includes the principle offices for ABN Amro, Samsung, Cusezar, RBS and the EU.
 
World Trade Centre
The WTC is located on Calle 100 and boasts a revolving fish restaurant called La Fragata on its top floor.

Usaquén

This area is famous for a rich assortment of restaurants (incl. Sushi, Chinese, Argentinian, Spanish, Fish, Middle Eastern) spread around the Spanish colonial style architecture of the Usaquén district.

 

Every Sunday you can also enjoy a stroll around the upmarket flea market (Mercado de Pulgas), featuring paintings, assorted artesanal products and local food flavours.

 

Unicentro

Unicentro mall is lcoated on the corner of Calle 127 and Av C 15. This modern style mall will cater for all your shopping and entertainment needs, including a multi-screen cinema. It also includes various fast food restaurants (incl. El Coral, Charlies, Crepes & Waffles).

 

Hacienda Santa Barbara

This shopping mall is located on the Septima (Av C 9 Calle 116) and is actually a converted hacienda. It retains some of the original Spanish hacienda architecure and is home to numerous boutique style shops (incl. emerald jewellers) and restaurants.

 

Calle 122 & Calle 116 (Pepe Sierra)

These principal shopping streets are full of internation brand name shops and a variety of restaurants.
